In this article, I am going to talk about two popular Adobe software: Photoshop and Illustrator.
Do we have the right to choose?
A mistake made by many graphic designers (mostly beginners) is that they think they have to choose between Photoshop and Illustrator for logo design. While you have no choice!
Application of Softwares
I will tell you very briefly and usefully that if you want to design a logo, you should only use Illustrator because this is a vector software (that is, the design quality does not change by zooming in or out) and the requirement of the logo is that it has the best quality in every point and place; But if you don’t intend to design a logo and want to work in other areas of graphic design (such as designing banners, business cards, letterheads, etc) and since these things I mentioned have specific dimensions, you should only use Photoshop because unlike Illustrator, this is a pixel software and it also provides you with great features specific to your activity.
Other software
As I said at the beginning of the article, only two software Photoshop and Illustrator was checked here; While there are other softwares that have similar functionality; Like CorelDRAW – Affinity Photo, etc
